For me, it was a special week, marked by a wonderful milestone: for the first time, one of my artworks is on display in a museum!
It is a piece featuring the one-off Packard Excellence. An exceptional car of which there is, in fact, only one example in the whole world.
The artwork, measuring 80 × 180 cm, features my signature epoxy raindrops, which make the drops appear to lie on the surface just like real water.
And it is precisely an artwork depicting such a unique car that has now been given a very special place: amongst the historic Packards at the Packard Museum in Bleiswijk, as part of the Dutch Packard Collection.
My first artwork in a museum — and straight away one featuring a car of which there is only one in the world. I am particularly proud of that.
